After three days of learning two new languages and a new data format, I finally have it up. Yes, I probably sacrificed my AP English grade, but it's worth it. |

I have this urge to become a logistician. Or an emergency operations manager. Crises are fun. |

I finally have a thesis statement:
Ayn Rand's philosophical school of thought, Objectivism, is incompatible with societies with immutable socioeconomic hierarchies.
Or something like that. Yes...7 words with more than 7 letters. |

I'm reading about crash barriers on highways, because that's what i'm writing my poem about. It's actually interesting the different types: the Jersey barrier (rigid concrete), flexible wire, and steel beam. |

In order to dispel rumors over the prom, I will post the factual information about it.
1. There WILL be a prom. It will be held on May 20th, 2005 from 6:30 pm to 11:30 pm. 2. Prom bids will NOT increase. They will remain at $70 per person, $140 per couple. 3. The Skylands at Randolph will NOT require any additional compensation. In simple terms, we DO NOT have to pay for a lack of people. 4. Photos go on sale TOMORROW, May 4th during lunch. 5. Re-read numbers 1 & 3 and spread those like rumors.
Have a nice day. |

I compiled a list of how to get a 3, 4, or 5 on the ap exam. Keep in mind that the ranges will change, and I haven't done that mckinney thing with the dbq and such.

Anyhow, I got a bit distracted by Spanish poem. It's about water, and I decided I need a picture of some sort to go with it. So, I set up the tripod and such, and proceeded to drip water into a tupperware container. The results aren't what I wanted, but this image was pretty cool. It has a fair amount of noise/other stuff going on. |

I went outside to take pictures in the snow. I outfitted the camera with the lens hood, and mounted it on the tripod. My original intention was to shoot streams of headlights as they passed through snow. But I got distracted.
